BSNL 3G reaches Ooty, Coonoor and Coimbatore

Tourist destinations of India Ooty, Coonoor and the business metropolis Coimbatore will now host 3G mobile services. BSNL has formally announced to provide service in the Tamil Nadu Circle. 3G allows simultaneous use of speech and advanced data services 3G technology offers unprecedented quality in voice call as well as a wide range of compelling data services.

This service supports speeds of up to 3.1Mbps and promises to give seamless online internet experience to users on their mobile handsets and without any difficulty users can experience video calls, Fring or skype can be installed by the users on their mobile phones. Users would be able to make free voice and video calls to other mobiles that have Fring or Skype anywhere in the world. BSNL 3G speed is 3.5Mbps if the download speed is improved or the bandwidth will get increased after seeing the response.

Users can experience blazing fast Internet access on the go and live streaming of video. This service will prove to be a boon for tourists of Indian Southern States who always require a fast internet.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, which is presently available in 300 cities and enjoying more than 7.5 lakh 3G subscribers, is having aim to stretch it to 700 cities by July 2010. Moreover, Indian Premier League (IPL) shall be merging with Youtube and the cricket match can be watched from the cell phone with an astounding 36 camera view options.
